The commercial building "Pacápio building" on Avenue Infante Dom Henrique was built in 1965, and the building also named Sociedade de Lotarias Wing Hing, Limitada. In 1965, after the company obtained an operating contract, it moved from the old site of Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro to the current seven-floor-high building. The company initially operated Pacápio and other traditional Chinese lottery. In the early days, there was a light box at the entrance of the site, with thousands of words written on it, and 20 winning number would be displayed after lottery draws. Since 1990, Sociedade de Lotarias Wing Hing, Limitada has been computerized, and the facade has been converted into a light box with the word of “Computer Pacápio". The process from betting to drawing was controlled by the computer. The maximum winning awards was up to 300,000 MOP per game and drawing the winning numbers of a lottery every 15 minutes.
The architectural style of the Pacápio building is a modern building. So far its main purpose is to issue various lottery, especially Chinese lottery. The current situation of this building is good, and various types of lottery are still issued for local citizens. At the same time, the building albelongs to Sociedade de Turismo e Diversões de Macau, S.A., so it also provides other types of gambling ervices. The Pacápio building is located in the commercial center, and is surrounded by different types of shops and commercial buildings. In addition to this, convenienct transportation also brings people to the building. Therefore, Macao citizens have basic knowledge of Pacápio building, such as its function and some simple background information.
The architect, coming from Goa in 1962, Manuel Vicente, who worked with Ramalho, produced his first batch of important buildings in this period: four houses on the Travessa da Praia Grande (1962); the commercial building "Pacápio" on Avenue Infante Dom Henrique (1965); and above all, the orphanage at Chunambeiro (1964) which lies in front of the Praia Grande Bay, built around a cloister with intricate details.
位於殷皇子馬路上的商業建築白鴿票大樓建於1965年，該建築物又名為榮興彩票有限公司。1965年，公司取得經營合同後，便從新馬路舊址遷至莉娜大廈旁邊之七層高現址。該公司最初經營白鴿票以及其他中式傳統彩票早期該址門口有一個門字坊燈箱 ，上面寫有千字文，開彩後會亮出20個中獎字。1990年起榮興彩票進行電腦化，門面改裝為寫有「電腦白鴿票」的燈箱，而投注到開彩過程均由電腦控制，每15分鐘開彩一次每場最高可贏30萬澳門元。
白鴿票大樓的的建築風格屬於現代建築，至今它的用途主要是發行各種的彩票 特別是中式彩票. 這個建築物在現時的情況是健全的，仍然為澳門市民發行多種 形式的彩票。與此同時該建築物亦屬於澳門旅遊娛樂股份有限公司，因此都會 提供其他類型的博彩投注服務. 白鴿票大樓的位於商業中心位置，旁邊都佈滿不 同形式的商店和商業大廈。除此之外，交通輸紐的地段亦為建築物帶來人流， 因此澳門市民對白鴿票大樓的都存在基本的認知，例如他的用途和一些簡單的背景資料。
建築師曼努埃爾·維森特1962年來自果阿，師從拉馬略進行實習，他在這個時期的作品 是最初的一批重要建築物:南灣巷的四幢住宅(1962);殷皇子大馬路上的商業 建築“Pacapio”(1965);尤其是在對着南灣的燒灰爐前地的能容150名兒童的 Helen Liang孤兒院(1964)，它圍繞着一個“院廊”環境而構成，有十分細緻的佈置。
“Butterfly Method” Analysis：
According to our interviews with some Macao residents, their general knowledge of Pa Ca Pio building exists. However, they are unfamiliar with the historical background of the building, which shows that Macao residents have relatively low connectivity to the building. The Pa Ca Pio building was built in 1965 and designed by Manuel Vicente who was the late Portuguese modern architect. The Pa Ca Pio lottery was organized in Macao earlier than 1847. From the above information, we know that whether it is Pa Ca Pio building or Pa Ca Pio culture has a certain historical background and uniqueness in Macau. The condition of the Pa Ca Pio building remains intact and in operation.
根據我們對一些澳門居民進行的採訪，我們得知現代澳門人對建築物普遍認知是存在的。然而，他們對該建築物的歷史背景仍較為陌生。由此可見，澳門居民對白鴿票大樓的情感連接都相對較弱。白鴿票大樓始建於1965年，是一座由已故葡籍現代建築設計師曼努埃爾·維森特所設計的現代建築。白鴿票早在1847年澳門宣佈博彩合法化後開始發行。從以上資料可見，白鴿票大樓的優勢並不只在於其經濟的獨特性，更在於其文化的獨特性，在澳門具有極其重要的獨特歷史地位。白鴿票大樓仍然正常營運中，而其結構亦保持完整。
